Hear On The News

Hear on the news about
little boys gone missing,
listen to deeper words
from some neighbor, witness and we think of the
preciousness of life,
the many things we'll
do ourselves to make the
whole world better.
And then work happens,
and then we
melt back into our
own lives, forgetting about the
families we never knew
to begin with. How
many times have we
relaxed our busy minds and
thought back to a story,
and wondered how the
closest ones to it
cope at all.
